And the MILLE GT Bib Shorts C2 are a perfect example, taking their highly acclaimed GT shorts and subjecting them to a rigorous re-evaluation and redesign to enhance the fit, feel and performance. Improvements to the waist design, premium X-frame suspension carriage and a reduction in seams and weight (28% and 5g, respectively) have all led to shorts that feel just right, the moment you pull them on.

Endurance Fit and Feel

With a focus on long training rides and endurance events, but also everyday cycling comfort, Assos chose to use their Type.429 fabric for the GTs. This highly functional fabric delivers a snug flexible fit to ensure you slip through the air with ease.

It’s also highly breathable, perfect for high summer rides and durable to resist the abuse of countless kilometres on the saddle. And with light compression, helps push back fatigue as your rides get longer, matching the longer days of summer.

Assos AEPD (Advanced Ergonomic Pattern Design) Regular Fit 

Finding the perfect harmony of long-ride comfort and smooth, flexible fit, the Assos AEPD Regular Fit isn’t so compressive as their RaceFit but it’s certainly not going to slow you down. At the waist, the more
forgiving zeroPressure design also keeps the shorts beautifully in place while allowing optimal flexibility for deep breathing and low riding positions. 

The aero comfort also extends to the leg grippers. 6mm in depth and using LYCRA® with woven silicone grip, they provide a secure fit while giving a smooth and uninterrupted transition from shorts to skin.

MILLE GT C2 Insert

With 3mm of extra cushioning, the MILLE GT C2 pad is more comfortable, more supportive and more shock-absorbing than ever. Compressive foam layers, up to 11mm in depth, provide endurance-focused support on the saddle.

The 3D Waffle design uses a three-layer construction, with perforated foams to enhance breathability and airflow. Thermoformed shaping reduces ridges and irritation while the odour-resistant top sheet maintains freshness.
