Extra storage. Yes. Added protection. Yes. Light and supportive. Yes. The Assos TRAIL Liner Bib Shorts are designed to fit under the Trail shorts, or your personal favourite baggies, to keep comfort levels high as you rip around MTB trails.

If you like to ride trails light and ride fast, the TRAIL Liner Bib Shorts are your ideal mountain biking companion. Worn under baggy shorts, the Aerofit leg panels provide a sleek, supportive fit and plenty of breathability so you don’t feel damp when you’re working hard on the trail. The deep V-shaped waist sits just right when you’re in your riding position while the extended inseam gives a smoother fit over the thighs. If you feel you want greater protection then impact pads can be added to these shorts (not supplied). Once added, if you take a fall, then the hip pads, made from 8mm high-density polyurethane, absorb the hits while not getting in the way when you’re pedalling. 

Flat and flexible bib strap hold the shorts comfortably in place, you’ll soon forget they’re there when you’re into the flow of the trail. Stabilizator mesh to the back ensures excellent moisture control and provides support for the built-in pockets. These pockets sit high on the back, to avoid your baggies waistband, but they’re still easily accessible when you need to grab essentials. Leave your backpack at home and enjoy the extra freedom and flexibility you get.

OFF-ROAD Liner EVO Seat Pad

On the saddle, the OFF-ROAD Liner EVO Insert is designed to offer extra support across the rear of the pad, suited to the more upright riding position when mountain biking. The 3D waffle construction sees three-layers of perforated foam delivering impressive breathability while reducing bulk. Ventilation is also optimised due to the kraterCoolers system, whereby perforation holes along the front of the pad increase airflow and cool your sensitive areas.
